Religious Activities
As it is the first principal seat of Shri Krishna Pranami Religion - Nijananda Sampradya - all religious activities are naturally given special importance here. The mission of propagating the principles of this religion is carried out by Acharya Shri and other saints, scholars and Sundarsath by paying regular visits to different parts of India and other countries. The recitals of 'Shri Tartamsagar' as well as performance of the regular puja and other offerings is carried out here in the established tradition. The Gauri Aarti in the evening has its special importance here. A national congragation is held here every year on the birthday of Shri Prannathji (Bhadrapad,krishne. 14). Other religious festivals are also celebrated with pomp and grandeur. Training camps are organized all over the country, so that the Sundarsath understand the principles of this religion in a proper perspective and follow them faithfully. Acharya Shri 108 Krishnamaniji Maharaj makes it convenient to remain present at these camps to offer his guidance. The commemoration programme held in memory of Acharya Shri 108 Dharamdasji Maharaj in the year 1995, Shri Krishna Pranami Dharma Mahotsav organized at Ahmedabad in 1998, the Kalash Mahotsav celebrated on 1-1-2001, the grand religious festival organized at Rajkot in the year 2004 and in Kathmandu and America (Tennacy) thereafter will be remembered for ever because of the great organizing ability of Acharya Shri 108 Krishnamaniji Maharaj. The great international religious festival being organized this year at Jamnagar will add one more important feather in his cap.
Social Service Activities
As noted earlier, it conducts several social and educational activities in addition to religious activities. This includes management of educational institutes of different types, charitable dispensaries, mobile dispensaries and organizing medical camps (like blood donation, diognising camps, post-polio surgery), health awareness campaigns, tree plantation, activities relating to the proper use and storage of water and relief and rehabilitation operations during famine, flood, cyclone, earthquake etc. The Institute has its own gaushala accommodating and nurturing 108 cows with love and care.
